Our landscaping service is an inclusive design process that starts with your vision and is guided by our expert knowledge and experience.
All landscaping projects, commercial or private start with a site survey and consultation. We will visit you on site to discuss your requirements;
- how the area is to be used,
- what you want from the area,
- likes and dislikes of design: modern & architectural, cosy cottage garden, practical and child friendly etc
- planting colour schemes and choices
- discuss the feasibility of initial ideas - whether they include building a new patio, adding a water feature, constructing fences, pergolas or new walls.
After the initial consultation, we will be able to draw up initial plans and provide a quote of the work to be done; after any alterations and approval, work will commence.
The majority of projects begin with clearing the site ready to:
- lay new turf
- re-seed for new lawns
- level the ground for any construction
- preparation for water features - digging of set areas
- planting new hedges, borders, hanging baskets and troughs
Before new planting schemes can be implemented we will need to check the drainage of the area in question, soil pH and structure to ensure we provide the best quality specimens that will survive. Once clarified, plant types, quantities can be determined.
Private projects
When deciding to re-design your garden, we need to take into consideration how the space is to be used and if we need to factor in any practical requirements. A personal visit and consultation will allow us to establish your needs and us to offer our professional advice on your ideas.
